Dagens industri writes that Lars Rohde, like CEO Peter Hasslev, is critical of the huge investments made in Heimstaden Bostad. He tells the newspaper that there were large investments made in a company that is highly indebted and in a market that has not gone up like in previous years, which created major challenges for the company and for the owners.

"I am on the same line as the CEO, this was an investment that could probably have been done without," he says to Dagens industri.

Lars Rohde was during 2013-2023 head of Danmarks riksbank and has previously been CEO of the Danish pension company ATP between 1998-2013.

"Lars Rohde, with his background as head of the Riksbank for ten years and CEO of the pension company ATP for fifteen years, has a unique background and experience to now lead Alecta's board," says the committee's chairman Kenneth Bengtsson in a press release.
