Since Panattoni established itself on the Swedish market two years ago, things have progressed quickly. In 2023 alone, after a smooth construction process, the first facility in Enköping was completed, while the company has another 172,000 square meters in production after establishing locations in strategic locations around the country. Panattoni sees the future brightly and is therefore recruiting two new people who will drive the company's work with communication and sustainability – two highly topical areas in today's logistics Sweden.

Despite a shaky global situation, last year ended strongly for Panattoni, which noticed an increased interest in its newly produced industrial and logistics properties. Expectations for 2024 are high and they are strengthening their commitment to communication and sustainability, which are highly topical areas in the construction and logistics industry today. The first step is the recruitment of two key roles within marketing and communication and sustainability strategy in the Nordic market, with Catharina Gorthon as new Head of Marketing & Communication and Linda Flydén, new Head of Sustainability. Both roles will take place in Panattoni's management team.

"We operate in an industry where sustainability is a strong competitive factor, while we ourselves as a company are on an exciting growth journey. With Catharina and Linda at the helm, we will accelerate our work to strengthen our position on the market as Europe's foremost developer of modern and sustainable logistics and industrial properties," says Fredrik Jagersjö Rosell, CEO of Panattoni Sweden.

Catharina Gorthon has a solid background in marketing and communication in the construction and property industry. With extensive experience from Serneke and Colliers, among others, she has been responsible for driving brand development and marketing activities both externally and internally. Her role at Panattoni will therefore entail a special focus on strengthening the brand in the Nordic market.

"In the two years that Panattoni has been on the Nordic market, they have made an impressive journey. It feels incredibly exciting to get on the train at this stage and increase awareness in the Nordic market as the company grows," says Catharina Gorthon.

With her deep understanding of sustainability issues both from a strategic, operational and legal perspective, Linda Flydén will be responsible for driving Panattoni Nordic's sustainability commitment forward. Linda has a background in both the transport industry and the construction industry at, among others, Pontarius and Swedavia, and has worked with sustainability issues in close cooperation with authorities, investors and partners.

"The sustainability work of the construction and logistics sector is constantly under scrutiny by the outside world, and this places high demands on all actors in the industry to put ESG issues first. There are already several ambitious initiatives and I look forward to deepening the sustainability work at Panattoni," says Linda Flydén.

Catharina Gorthon and Linda Flydén took up their positions at Panattoni on 1 March.
