28&7, a 12-story modern office building located at the corner of 7th Avenue and 28th Street in the Chelsea District, Manhattan, is Corem’s second largest ongoing project and is developed in collaboration with GDS Development Management (GDSNY). The building is LEED-Gold certified and offers office spaces with the latest technology in air quality and touchless systems. The façade is made of elements in black-glazed terracotta.
“We are very pleased to announce these additional two signed leases at our premium property 28&7. Both Chenel Capital and Superstate will contribute in an excellent way to the tenant-mix of the building. Together with the lease to Visualize Group in February, this means an increase of leased space in 28&7 by a total of 22 percent within a few weeks. The current leasing pace affirms the continued strong demand for new premium office buildings in New York. That segment specifically accounts for the majority of all new leasing in New York at present, following the trend by premium tenants moving to high-quality office buildings. Our project properties in New York are exactly the type of properties to own on Manhattan right now”, said Rutger Arnhult, Corem’s CEO.
With the signing of these leases, Corem’s total annual contract value for all signed lease contracts in the USA amounts to around 14 million USD.
