The project is a continuation of Genesta's acquisition in May 2023 and strengthens Jönköping's role as a central hub for modern logistics.

"The demand for logistics properties remains strong, driving investments in modern and sustainable facilities with strategic locations, long-term leases, and reliable tenants. The deal with Genesta confirms Infrahubs' leading position and attractive offering for the future of logistics," says Andreas Ekberg, CEO of Infrahubs.

The property, currently fully leased to Husqvarna AB, is strategically located with excellent access to the E4 highway and is designed for future logistics needs in terms of automation and sustainability.

"The expansion signifies a substantial increase in warehouse capacity, and we are pleased to be able to offer our tenant one of the largest and most modern logistics properties in the region," says David Neil, CEO of Genesta.

The expansion is scheduled for completion by the end of 2025, which will increase Genesta's total logistics holdings to approximately 350,000 square meters. The portfolio includes, among others, ICA's central warehouse in Västerås and the newly built Enköping Logistikcenter.
