The two newly-built assets enjoy excellent micro-locations in Pasila and Etelä-Haaga and comprise 158 modern, high-quality apartments with a combined lettable area of 7,054 sqm. The asset in Etelä-Haaga is already very energy efficient with an EPC rating A, equipped with both solar panels and geothermal heating. By installing solar panels on the roof of the Pasila asset, Sirius will also transform its EPC rating from B to A and push its EPC number below 70.
“We are extremely happy to add these two standing residential assets to our portfolio. The quality and superb micro-location of these two assets is evidenced by the high occupancy and low churn, despite the somewhat challenging rental market we still face. With the improvements we are committed to make, we will further strengthen the ESG features and lower the carbon footprint of this portfolio”, says Jonas Ahlblad, CIO of Sirius Capital Partners.
