Sweden — Real estate investor Nrep has expanded its residential portfolio with the acquisition of two apartment complexes from Magnolia Bostad. Collectively, the two sites provide 524 homes for rent and are located in the Ångloket neighbourhood in Knivsta and part of phase two of the Brogårdsstaden district in Upplands-Bro, both with sustainable rental levels and a high environmental profile. The acquisition is made through the Nrep Income+ fund. The fund completed a third closing last year with just over SEK 3.1 billion in capital raised.

Sweden — Niam has entered into a joint-venture with Magnolia Bostad to develop two residential blocks in Gothenburg. The project is estimated to include around 350 condominiums and rental apartments, in varying sizes.

Sweden — Magnolia Bostad has acquired land in Svedala municipality, for the development of residential units of about 13,000 sqm GFA. The property is located in the north-eastern part of Svedala.

Sweden — During June Magnolia Bostad acquired land in Ursvik, Sundbyberg for the development of Ursviks Torn, which will consist of around 180 residential units of about 10,500 sqm GFA and about 370 sqm for commercial premises. The number of acquired building rights was included in the reported number of building rights in Magnolia Bostad's half-year report.

Sweden — Magnolia Bostad has acquired Täljöviken's conference centre in Österåker municipality and will develop it into a modern attractive F-9 (compulsory) school for about 800 students.

Sweden — Fredrik Westin has been appointed Deputy CEO of Magnolia Bostad, while at the same time remaining in his role as CFO.

Sweden — Magnolia Bostad has signed an agreement with Tegelplan Utveckling to acquire land in Östersund for the development of around 190 residential units of about 11,500 sqm GFA and around 2,000 sqm GFA for non-residential premises, including a supermarket.

Sweden — F Holmström Holding has announced today that its offer has been accepted to such an extent that FHH holds more than 90 per cent of the shares in Magnolia Bostad.

Sweden — Magnolia Bostad has signed an agreement with Diös Fastigheter for the acquisition of land in Sundsvall for the development of around 350 residential units of about 21,000 sqm GFA.

Sweden — Magnolia Bostad has sold 200 rental residential units in the Västra Ursvik district in Sundbyberg to CBRE Global Investors. The project consists of around 12,500 sqm GFA for accommodation as well as around 300 sqm GFA of commercial premises and 73 garage spaces. The estimated property value upon completion is around SEK 588 million.

Sweden — Magnolia Bostad is selling 346 residential units in Handen, Haninge Municipality to Heimstaden Bostad. The estimated property value upon completion will be around SEK 850 million.

Sweden — Magnolia Bostad has acquired land in Ystad for the development of around 32 800 sqm GFA con-sisting of 450 residential units and a school. The property is located in the residential area of Erikslid in the western part of Ystad.

Sweden — Magnolia Bostad has signed an agreement for the acquisition of land in Öresjö Ängar, Borås for the development of residential units and a nursery school, of around 30,000 sq.m GFA.

Sweden — Magnolia Bostad is selling 180 rental apartments in the new district of Nya Hovås in Göteborg to Heimstaden Bostad. The project consists of around 11,060 sqm GFA for residential units and around 2,500 sqm GFA for retail units and a garage. The estimated property value upon completion will be around SEK 450 million.

Sweden — Magnolia Bostad and Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden (SBB) are forming a 50/50 Joint Venture (JV) for the development of investment properties. The JV will acquire four projects consisting of around 2,300 residential units from Magnolia Bostad and one project consisting of around 250 residential units from SBB. Magnolia Bostad is also selling two residential care homes located in Nacka and Östersund to SBB.

Sweden — The Board of Directors of Magnolia Bostad AB has decided to propose a dividend payment of SEK 2 per share for the financial year 2019.

Sweden — Magnolia Bostad has signed an agreement to acquire three properties in Handen, Haninge municipality. On the properties, Magnolia Bostad plans to develop around 345 residential units and other premises totalling 21,000 sqm GFA.

Sweden — In 2019, Magnolia Bostad issued warrants to be offered to both future and current employees. Through the subsidiary Magnolia Utveckling AB, Magnolia Bostad holds a total of 30,000 warrants in the program from 2019, which will now be sold to Johan Tengelin, who will take over as CEO no later than December 2020.

Sweden — Magnolia Bostad has sold residential units in the new Partille Port district to Heimstaden Bostad. Around 230 residential units are planned in the property of 12,500 sqm GFA as well as 3,000 sqm GFA of retail units and an underground garage. The estimated property value upon completion is around SEK 560 million.

Sweden — Magnolia Bostad signs an agreement to sell the Västra Erikslid project in Skellefteå municipality to Heimstaden Bostad. The project involves the development of approximately 300 residential units of 21,000 sqm GFA. Estimated property value at completion is about MSEK 475.

Sweden — Magnolia Bostad has sold an additional project to Heimstaden Bostad, this time in Ursvik, Sundbyberg’s municipality. The sale is consisting of around 380 residencies, a nursery school, 8 retail premises and 168 garage spaces. The estimated property value at completion will be around SEK 1.0 billion.

Sweden — Magnolia Bostad’s Board of Directors announces that Johan Tengelin will take over as CEO of the company no later than December 2020. He will succeed Fredrik Lidjan.

Sweden — Magnolia Bostad has signed an agreement to sell about 900 homes to Trenum AB. The estimated property value at completion amounts to SEK 1.7 billion. The sale is contingent on the zoning plan coming into force, which is expected to be obtained in June 2020, revenue recognition will take place when the zoning plan comes into force.

Sweden — Magnolia Bostad plans to develop about 2,000 residential units, including a nursery school, residential care units, shops, a restaurant and hotel at Vårby Udde, Huddinge's new marine district.
