A new Life Science cluster is being established in Sweden when the Astra Zeneca plant in Mölndal is being developed into an international research arena. It is Next Step and Vectura Real Estate, a wholly owned subsidiary of Patricia Industries, which is responsible for a venture estimated at approximately SEK 3.5 billion (EUR 365M). As early as 2021, the first new companies and institutions are estimated to be able to move in.
