The property will be taken possession of in early 2021 and will be located in the new district Skeppsbron by Södra Munksjön in Jönköping.
Södra Munksjön will be Jönköping’s new hub and an extension of the existing city center. One of the first projects in this new district, Skeppsbron, will be Jordbruksverket and Skogsstyrelsen’s new activity based office building that will encompass approximately 16,000 square meters, fitting bout 900 workspaces.
The building has a clear environmental profile and the goal is to certify it according to Breeam’s Excellent level. The acquisition is conditional upon the building permits gaining legal force.
“We are very happy to have the opportunity to get to know two new agencies and work together with Skanska in this very exciting civil project. The acquisition is in line with our acquisition strategy and it is especially pleasing to establish ourselves in a for us new and expansive city,” says Fredrik Linderborg, CEO at Vacse.
