Together with Huddinge municipality, Fabege will now proceed with the plan for the area and its infrastructure. The area, with existing and planned infrastructure, is the natural hub of southern Stockholm. The total real estate value of the acquisitions amounts to approximately MSEK 750 (EUR 73M).

“It is of course extremely exciting that we are up and running with this important project, together with Huddinge Municipality. Attractive workplaces located close to where people live are needed, also on the southern side of Stockholm, and utilizing vacant capacity in existing infrastructure is very wise. We hope that this new city district will create a better balance and more competitiveness in the entire Stockholm region,” says Klaus Hansen Vikström, Vice President and Director of Business Development at Fabege.

Fabege's aim is to renew and develop the area around Flemingsberg station to create a place for 50,000 jobs, 50,000 residents and 50,000 visitors in Flemingsberg. A place where knowledge and creativity combine with business, local residents and visitors to create sustainable growth in an open and inviting environment.
