This means that the development of Solna Strand enters its final phase.

Project STRAND is divided into two stages and comprises a total of 26,000 square meters divided into six planes in three house bodies.

Stage one, which covers a total of 4,400 square meters, is completed and fully let to, among other things, COWI who took office in the autumn of 2017. In November 2018 it became clear that the University and Higher Education Council, UHR, also moved to the area. The lease to UHR became the start of stage two.

With the lease to Statistics Sweden, Vasakronan also completes houses B and C and thus completes the project STRAND, which is clearly in its entirety in the third quarter of 2020.

The goal is to modernize and create a new structure and new connections between the three existing buildings. At the same time, a new line of sight is opened and common surfaces are created all the way down to the shore edge.

"Statistics Sweden has been our tenant in existing premises in Garnisonen since the early 1970s. With the move to STRAND, they will have more suitable and cohesive premises in a lakeside location with very good communications regardless of whether you choose a bike, boat, subway, commuter train or crossroad," says Anna Nyberg, head of property development Stockholm.

The lease to Statistics Sweden gives STRAND a occupancy rate of 57 per cent in the two buildings that stage two refers to.

Statistics Sweden moves in the summer of 2020.
