The Regina building in Aarhus, which houses shops, apartments and offices, has changed ownership. Industriens Pension has bought the building with the rounded facade and the dome on the roof, which is centrally located on the pedestrian street in Aarhus between the Town Hall, the railway station and the Cathedral.
Industriens Pension's Head of Unlisted Investments, Jan Østergaard, welcomes the acquisition of the distinctive property.
“We would like to help ensure that the Regina building can again become a lively meeting place that benefits all the citizens of the city. The building is in itself a piece of cultural history worthy of preservation, and it has many applications. At the same time, the property with the unique location in central Aarhus will be able to generate stable and solid returns for our members," he says.
It is Capital Investment, that on behalf of the investment company Aberdeen Standard Investments, sells the building, which they acquired in 2016 through CBRE, which has also been responsible for the sale this time.
The purchase price is not published, but it is a larger three-digit MDKK amount.
