“We see big possibilities in the development of Värmdö Bostäder through Rikshem’s business and experience in own management, residential social work and cooperation with the counties. Purchasing 49 percent of a public municipal housing company is completely in line with Rikshem’s ambition of being the common benefit nationally” says Ilija Batljan, vice President and Business Development Manager at Rikshem.
Included in the deal is also the acquisition of land allocation with the purpose of erecting 500 apartments and rental units in the county.
Värmdö county and Rikshem continues the cooperation by discussing the divestment of social properties in the county.
