The office will house the local police in Farsta, but also joint office workplaces. The Police Authority begins moving in starting in spring 2020.

"We are in an exciting phase in the process of establishing Telestaden as a separate, new and varied district. The police are a very important activity for the area, Farsta and for the whole of Stockholm. We look forward to their presence at Telestaden," says Per Högdin, project manager.

"We have a solid job both behind and in front of us in this process. The main purpose is to be able to remain close to the citizens while managing our resources in a smart way. These criteria have led us to this solution in Telestaden," says Henrik Nilsson, acting chief of the local police in Farsta.

Telestaden is a district located in Telia's former office area. The area will have about 3,000 new homes as well as local services, workplaces, preschools and schools. Among the existing activities in the area are Familjebostäder, ccap (a studio for modern dance) and the art production center Konstverket. In November it was confirmed that a care home with 110 apartments will also be built.

The police will move into "Hus I" on the Mårbackadel part of the area. The move is expected to be completed in the spring of 2021.
