Vasakronan's transformation of Sergelhuset, a city development project involving three buildings totaling 60,000 square meters along Malmskillnadsgatan, Hamngatan and Sveavägen, is underway.

King (Midasplayer AB), one of the world's leading mobile gaming companies, is moving into the house located on Sveavägen overlooking Sergel's square. The company rents a total of 11,500 square meters of office space on the six top floors with its own entrance area in street level.

Stureplansgruppen, one of Sweden's leading restaurant groups, will also establish itself in the Sergel project and will offer event and conference opportunities as well as a restaurant and roof terrace. The event area comprises 2,500 square meters with entrance from Sveavägen. The restaurant and the large roof terrace cover a total of 1,100 square meters and will be located on floor 16 with entrance from Malmskillnadsgatan.

"What used to be a more or less closed block now becomes a mix full of smart office solutions, shops and restaurants as well as housing. Both King and Stureplansgruppen fit well into the character we want to give the area," says Fredrik Wirdenius, CEO of Vasakronan.

In Sergelhuset, Vasakronan's own head office will also be located. In addition, Vasakronan's new concept Arena for flexible working methods is also established. The leases to King and Stureplansgruppen as well as Vasakronan's own premises mean that half of the project is rented out.
