"I would like to say that this is one of the most challenging CEO positions in the real estate industry and it has obviously been of great interest. We have had many qualified candidates in a broad and deep process, both external and internal. Johanna fulfills all our requirements and in her current role has also shown what capacity she has," says Ulrika Francke, Chairman of the Board of Vasakronan.

Between 1998-2007 she worked at the then AP Fastigheter, now Vasakronan, and already sat on the management team. In 2015, she returned to Vasakronan to become head of real estate investments.
"We have an exciting time ahead of us and an incredible amount of work in the company. Everyone who works at Vasakronan has a commitment and a competence that makes it fun to go to work every day. Being able to make what the CEO feels even more fun now and I am very proud that I have gained the trust," says Johanna Skogestig, coming CEO of Vasakronan.
Fredrik Wirdenius will remain as CEO until Johanna Skogestig takes office on November 1, 2019.
