Osuuskauppa Hämeenmaa has bought the Syke shopping centre from Varma. The lettable area of the shopping centre is 14,000 square metres and the sale includes also 426 parking places. Anchor tenants in the property are S-market, Emotion, Clas Ohlson, Eurokangas and Alko.

Osuuskauppa Hämeenmaa has announced in connection with the acquisition that it will develop the shopping centre and expand the existing S-market into Prisma hypermarket.

Catella acted as Varma’s advisor in the sales process.

The property is part of Pegasos portfolio owned by Varma which is managed by Catella Asset Management. During the last year several divestments of the portfolio have been done.
