"The two properties are basically newly built and modern logistics properties with strategically good locations for running a rational and efficient business," says Mattias Wilson, CEO of Wilfast.
Wilfast has worked closely with Ness, Risan & Partners since 2001 and since then has completed real estate transactions of almost SEK 30 billion.
"Both purchases are characterized by Wilfast and NRP's business concept of acquiring and managing modern logistics properties with large and strong tenants with long leases. Where we, together with our tenants, continue to develop the properties to create value for the benefit of all parties involved."
In addition to being a co-investor in the projects, Wilfast has also been responsible for the DD process prior to the two acquisitions.
At the same time, three industrial properties in Nässjö are sold for a total of approximately 70,000 square meters to Swedish Logistic Property (SLP). Furthermore, a larger industrial property in Gothenburg of approximately 25,000 square meters has been sold to Arctic Securities. These projects have also been carried out together with Ness, Risan & Partners.
"These are all properties that we have managed and developed for many years, and it felt like a good opportunity to sell them to someone who sees new opportunities to develop the properties further," says Mattias Wilson.
The recently completed transactions correspond to a total value exceeding SEK 1 billion. Wilfast and NRP thus consolidate their position as one of the larger and more active players in the Scandinavian transaction market for logistics properties.
"We are active and look after new interesting business opportunities in our main business area, ie commercial real estate in warehousing, logistics, industry in the Nordic region. Before Christmas I hope that Wilfast and NRP can announce another major deal."
