The gross value of the transaction is DKK 1,085 million. The acquisition will take place in December 2019.
Weidekampsgade 12-16 is an office building built in 2008. The property enjoys a good and visible location on Islands Brygge with fine exposure to the important approach road Amager Boulevard.
The building is six floors plus a basement and has a rental area of 27,100 sqm. with SimCorp, VP Securities and Gen Re as tenants. Upon KLP Eiendom's acquisition, there is some vacancy in the property. The expected annual rental income, when the building is fully let, is approx. 38 MDKK.
Weidekampsgade 12-16 has energy class B, and in connection with the renovation of premises to SimCorp, the building has obtained a DGNB In-Use certification in category Silver.

Before the summer, KLP Eiendom announced the acquisition of the E. C. Hansens Hus office building in Carlsberg byen.
"We have had a desire for a larger portfolio of good office properties in Copenhagen and are pleased to complete our second major Danish transaction this year," says Gunnar Gjärtz, CEO of KLP Eiendom.
In the process, KLP Eiendom has been advised by Kromann Reumert, while the seller has been advised by Cushmann Wakefield and Accura.
