Gefion Fuglebakkekolleget was completed in December 2019, when the students moved in at the same time.

Every year before the start of the study, one can read in the media that Copenhagen is missing several thousand student housing, and although many student housing is being built around Copenhagen, it is not enough at all. That's why the Gefion Group stands behind 7 colleges that are either under construction, are listed or are rented out.

The recently sold college, Gefion Fuglebakkekleglegiet, is located in Copenhagen's Northwest Quarter, close to most educational institutions in Copenhagen. From the student residences there are about 2 km to Copenhagen Business School (CBS) at Frederiksberg, University of Copenhagen, Panum Institute and between 2-5 km to the other faculties of the University of Copenhagen. And if the students use public transport, Fuglebakken Station is next door and just a stop to Cityringen.

Gefion Fuglebakkeklegiet is next door to the area's historic waterworks, which has now been converted into a living house with café, restaurant and meeting facilities. The waterworks are in principle a modern assembly house, which contributes to creating life in the area. In the past 5 years, Copenhagen's Northwest Quarter has generally developed into a hip and attractive area that many young and creative people have chosen to move to.

Gefion Fuglebakkeklegiet has 71 studios and 72 rooms located in 18 apartments - all with their own kitchen and bath and high-speed internet. The studios are 35-48 m2 and the condominiums are 93-98 m2. In addition, there are 7 living rooms with communal kitchens where students can meet or make joint arrangements.

"We are experiencing great interest in our student housing projects, both from students who want to rent out at colleges and from investors who want to invest in rental properties, and at the same time make a difference by helping to alleviate the large shortage of student housing in Copenhagen," says Thomas Færch, CEO, Gefion Group.

In addition to the Gefion Fuglebakkekollegiet, Gefion Group is converting a former commercial property in Ballerup to 262 study residences. Ballerup has attracted many students over the past few years due to several educational institutions, but the number of student housing has not been monitored.

At Engvej on Amager, close to Femøren Metro Station, a former commercial property is being converted into 287 study residences and 75 general study residences.

At Hans Knudsens Plads in Østerbro, Gefion Ryparkenkollegiet will be erected with 133 study residences with planned occupancy this summer.

In addition, the former police station in Store Kongensgade in Copenhagen is being rebuilt to 72 student residences. And at Stadsgraven, 40 parts apartments are being built for up to 150 students, which have already been sold to DIS. In 2018, Gefion Group built and sold Tobakskollegiet with 175 student housing to a number of investors.
