Teglholmen is a development of an 11,800 sqm residential project at Teglholmen in Copenhagen. The project, named “Teglhusene”, includes 105 units and has a project value of approx. MDKK 460 (€62 M). The units have recently been put on the market at the project stage and construction will begin as soon as the required number of units is sold.

The plot is acquired from CPH City & Port Development and the architect behind the project is Aarstiderne Arkitekter.

The Amager Beach North development project spans 28,000 sqm that are intended mainly for residential. The plot was acquired from C.W. Obel Ejendomme, who, in collaboration with Arkitektgruppen and other landowners in the area, has initiated the preparations of a new local plan for the area. Copenhagen Municipality has just formally initiated the planning process and the local plan is expected to be adopted by the second half of 2016.

NREP and Arkitektgruppen also intend to offer the residential units for sale on this plot. The value of the project is approx. MDKK 940 (€126 M).

The parties have established a joint venture holding company, which will form the basis for their cooperation in selected development projects going forward.

“The cooperation with NREP is a new way to work for us”, says Director and co-owner of Arkitektgruppen, Robin Feddern. “We see big prospects in this cooperation and consider NREP as a highly competent and value-adding partner. It has been important for us to establish a partnership where we leverage on our different strengths. It is our intent that these projects will be the first in a longer series of exciting developments, designed and built by the parties in cooperation.”

“Arkitektgruppen has an extensive background in the development and construction of turnkey projects. This cooperation therefore ideally complements NREP’s strategic focus on residential development. At NREP we consider residential development to be a segment in which an attractive risk-adjusted return can be realized with the right skills and competencies. The two projects we have chosen to collaborate on are of high quality and both are located in some of Copenhagen’s most sought after development areas “says Rune Højby Kock, Partner in NREP.
