Akelius Makes Further Purchases in London

Sweden — The Swedish Property Company Akelius purchases the Cotton Lofts property with 40 condominiums in Hackney, London. The purchase price amounts to €29,5 M.

The property’s name, Cotton Lofts, reflects its history as a former textile warehouse.

“We purchased our first property in London in 2011 and with this purchase we own 1,306 condominiums in the metropolitan” says Akelius’ CEO Pål Ahlsén.

Akelius owns properties in nine million-cities; Stockholm, Berlin, Hamburg, Köln, Munich, London, Paris, Montreal and Toronto. Two thirds of the total
portfolio is located in million-cities.
