Behind the sale of Ådalshuset, which Industriens Pension has just taken over, is KPC Ejendomsudvikling, which is part of the family-owned development and construction group KPC with headquarters in Herning.

The second stage of the new residential area Åbyen is ready to receive some of the district's future residents.

Industriens Pension already entered into a pre-agreement at the end of 2018 to buy the completed housing project. Ådalshuset has a total area of almost 16,800 sqm, which is divided into different apartment types of between 56 and 126 sqm. In addition, the property contains a parking basement with 92 spaces.

"We are pleased to contribute to the development of the former industrial area, which has now become an attractive, green residential area in Aarhus. With the purchase of Ådalshuset, we have another modern residential property, which is located centrally in Aarhus, and which is in line with our strategy to expand the portfolio of residential rental properties," says property director Søren Tang Kristensen, Industriens Pension.

Ådalshuset is located in the new residential area Åbyen, which is an extension of Åbyhøj a few km from the city center in Aarhus. In the past, the area has been dominated by a number of older commercial properties that have been demolished in favor of new homes. The area is close to Ådalen's nature and Brabrandsøen.

KPC Ejendomsudvikling has been responsible for the project development, while the project's general contractor has been Raundahl & Moesby. Luplau & Poulsen Arkitekter has been responsible for the architecture.
