Going forth Akelius will focus more on apartments in large and medium sized cities and are looking to divest in smaller areas.

This is why Akelius now have put up their entire property portfolio in Western Sweden for sale, according to Borås Tidning.

“The sale involves a large portfolio in Borås, Skövde, Trollhättan and Gothenburg. We also have buildings in Lysekil, Karlstad and Kungsbacka that are included in the package. In total there are 4,302 apartments and the divestment is well underway” Lars Lindfors, manager of Akelius in Scandinavia, tells Borås Tidning.

“We hope that a large, capital strong Swedish real estate company will purchase the properties from us. The new owner will also take over our staff” says Lindfors.

According to Borås Tidning, Leimdörfer has the divestment assignment.
