Anderstorg is centrally located with proximity to, among other things, university campuses, preschools, and schools as well as retail stores. The intention is to develop environmentally friendly, sustainable housing built mainly in wood in collaboration with the architectural and consulting firm Greenhouse Living.
The exterior will be characterized by wood and glass with greenhouse balconies and a plant wall in the courtyard. In addition, several innovative and sustainable solutions are planned to be able to environmentally certify the property.
"We look forward to starting the building design of these eco-friendly homes that we believe will be very attractive. We see this investment as the start of a hopefully growing presence in Skelleftea, which we consider to be a very interesting place," says Andreas Morfiadakis, CEO of KlaraBo.
"We are pleased to welcome KlaraBo to Skelleftea and look forward to the city's range of sustainable and environmentally friendly housing being further broadened," says Patrik Larsen, Land and Development Manager at Skelleftea Municipality.
KlaraBo's local growth ambitions should be seen in the light of extensive green investments planned in the region within renewable energy, battery manufacturing and fossil-free steel.
