The portfolio consists of 806 residential units, and 21 new attic apartments under construction, mainly located in attractive micro locations in the central parts of Jönköping.
Heimstaden Bostad made its first investment in Jönköping in September 2021 and will establish a local operational office in connection to the acquisition.

Jönköping is Sweden’s tenth largest municipality and has had a strong population growth over the last years with a positive outlook going forward. The city is well-connected, with highways directly to Copenhagen and Stockholm, in addition to having one of Sweden’s top universities with appr. 12,000 students.
