SBB continues to grow with new production of rent regulated residentials in Sweden and is now starting construction of 78 apartments in Motala, 60 apartments in Karlskrona and 90 apartments in Oskarshamn. Through an efficient industrial construction method, the houses are built with solid wood frames and the majority of the houses are built in the factory to be assembled on site. With this method, SBB reduces construction costs and construction time with a large sustainability gain as a result. SBB is one of Sweden's leading players in building with wood and currently has about 1,000 apartments with wooden frames in production.
