Fredrik Wirdenius (1961) holds a Master’s degree in engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm and was elected to Assemblin’s Board of Directors by the Extraordinary General Meeting held in August 2021. Fredrik has held several senior positions within Skanska and was active as President and CEO of property company Vasakronan AB between 2008 – 2019. He currently runs his own consulting business, and is Chairman of the Boards of Willhem AB, 3E Property AB and Hållbo AB, as well as member of the Boards of Axfast AB, Nobelhuset AB and Scandic Hotels Group AB.

The Meeting also elected Hans Petter Hjellestad, Investment Advisory Professional at Triton, as a new ordinary Board Member. The remaining members were re-elected, meaning that, in addition to Fredrik Wirdenius and Hans Petter Hjellestad, the Board of Directors now comprises shareholder representatives Young Kim and Anders Thulin, alongside independent members Susanne Ekblom, Mats Jönsson and Per-Ingemar Persson.
