Karlskoga is an attractive urban area in Örebro County. Located only a half hour drive from Örebro and 45 minutes from Karlstad, it is close to universities and regional cities, while reaching Stockholm in two hours by train. Karlskoga has its base in the defense industry and is one of Sweden's most engineering cities. The business community in Karlskoga is characterized by high-tech expertise, especially in the defense industry. The dominant employers are Saab Dynamics, BAE, a number of subcontractors in steel and metal processing and the pharmaceutical manufacturer Recipharm.
"Modern technology in combination with good communications provides opportunities for places like Karlskoga to develop strongly in the coming years, and there we want to be involved and create good housing opportunities," concludes David Dahlgren.
