Österåker Municipality is part of the archipelago in the Stockholm region with many areas for anyone interested in nature. Peab has been the responsible contractor for operations and maintenance since 2011 and now the municipality has renewed this responsibility.

“We’re really pleased and proud to handle operation and maintenance in Österåker Municipality and the fact that our commission has been extended is the blue ribbon stamp on our work in previous years,” says Andreas Rydbo, Region Manager Peab.

The project comprises taking care of parks and green areas, playgrounds and places to swim, dams, some woodland, jogging and riding tracks, a MTB track, and skiing tracks in the winter.

The project is a traditional four-year contract beginning in March 2023 with an option for another four years.

The project will be order registered in the first quarter 2023.
