The Skimra project consists of approximately 70 homes from one to five rooms and a kitchen. The most spectacular homes, including a 183 square meter penthouse, face south with a view of Malmöhus castle and the canals. Skimra is developed on the last area of land that can be built on along Citadellskajen.
"We see a fantastically nice project with a unique location in central Malmö. This is a jewel - both for us and for those who will live here," says Nordr's Sweden CEO Biljana Pehrsson.
With its car-free location by Citadellskajen and with a view of Malmöhus castle, Skimra is both sought after and noticed. The project, which was developed by Cormac, has already started sales but has been paused due to the troubled market situation.
"Financial strength is required to be able to start projects even in a tough market. Our assessment is that the project has such excellent conditions that it will be met with strong demand. We have also seen this in other parts of the country - nice projects with good locations have customers even in tougher times," says Biljana Pehrsson.
Nordr's ambition is to resume sales in 2023/2024 and complete the project by spring 2026. Existing customers will be offered priority.
Nordr is one of Scandinavia's leading housing developers. In Lund, the company recently started sales of the successful Teaterkatten project, in May the Lavendelgården project in Borstahusen will start, and after the summer sales are planned for the well-known Oceanbryggan in Helsingborg. Nordr is also developing Vellinge Parkby, where 340 detached houses and apartments are to be built starting next year.
