Dutch Investment Company Acquires Residentials in Copenhagen

Denmark — The Dutch investment company Bouwfonds Investment Management has acquired a residential property of 8,120 sqm in the new Rödovre district Irmabyen. The residentials will hold 82 appartments. Construction is scheduled to start next year and will be completed in the summer of 2018. The seller is Elf Developement and the transaction price is EUR 31M.

Bouwfonds IM is owned by Rabo Real Estate Group. The Company’s investment happen shortly after PKA invested in 8,400 sqm residentials in Irmabyen. Elf Development has sold land and properties in Irmabyen to a value of EUR 130M.

“When investors such PKA and Bouwfonds choses to buy properties in Irmabyen, we see it as a sign of Irmabyen’s commercial potential,” says Ludvig Find, CEO of Elfdevelopment.
