The existing lease of 4,500 square meters, which covers the entire property, is thus extended by 3.5 years. In connection with the extension, rent for solar cells are also agreed upon.

"This property will be equipped with solar cells, which many of our tenants are interested in. This provides a good effect for the environment combined with a high financial return for SLP and our tenants. We are happy that our existing tenant is extending the agreement, which has a positive effect on our current lease duration of 6.2 years, and that we are continuing our sustainability journey together," says Tommy Åstrand, CEO of SLP.

SLP has several ambitious sustainability goals. One is that installed power in solar cells on properties shall amount to at least 15 MW by the end of the year 2025. At the half-year mark, installed power amounted to 7.4 MW.
