SLP has signed an agreement regarding a new construction project of 11,000 square meters in Katrineholm as well as a 15-year lease with an international logistics company for the entire area. The annual rent amounts to approximately SEK 16 million and is fully indexed. The building will be constructed on a property of a total of 52,000 square meters, which means further expansion possibilities. The property is acquired from Katrineholm Municipality.

"We are pleased to be able to develop another new construction project. This time in the form of a freezer warehouse with storage options up to 15 meters, which also extends our already long rental period by 6.2 years. In addition, we have the opportunity to develop the property further over time through expansion," says Tommy Åstrand, CEO of SLP.

The property will be equipped with solar cells and be environmentally certified. Move-in will take place preliminary in December 2024. The lease agreement as well as the construction agreement are conditional on obtaining a building permit and approval of the land acquisition from the municipality. Preparations for construction are intended to begin shortly.

The transaction, which is estimated at SEK 208 million, will be financed with own funds.
