The report is dated February 23 and on Wednesday the authority gave the thumbs up for the deal.

 

SBB paid just over SEK 2 billion to Riksbyggen when it bought the majority in 2021. According to information to Di, Riksbyggen will get 30 percent of the homes and that in this way payment for the deal will be settled.

 

At the beginning of 2023, the total stock consisted of nearly 7,300 rental apartments with a total of 495,770 square meters of living and local area in 15 growing locations in Sweden – Skellefteå, Umeå, Östersund, Haninge, Nyköping, Västerås, Linköping, Jönköping, Kalmar, Trollhättan, Stenungsund , Höganäs, Helsingborg, Lund and Trelleborg. In March 2023, Unobo's stock was expanded by 1,598 apartments. Roughly half of the total stock consists of apartments from the million program years in the 1960s and 1970s, and roughly every third apartment was built in the 1980s and 1990s.

 

SBB does not want to comment on the data, but states to Di that it has previously flagged that it wants to dissolve jointly owned structures.
