Svenska spel was founded in 1997 after a merger of Tipstjänst and Penninglotteriet. The state-owned gambling company offers popular games such as Triss, Lotto and Stryktipset. Svenska spel is Sweden's largest sports sponsor and supports both grassroots and elite sports. The group has approximately 1,100 employees, with headquarters in Visby. In March 2023, Svenska spel inaugurated its newly renovated office on Gotland, and in 2025 a corresponding change will be made in Stockholm through a move to new premises to meet the business's requirements for a modern and flexible workplace.

“I and others in the group management are very satisfied with the choice of Svenska spel's new office in Stockholm. It meets our needs for a modern and flexible workplace. We are convinced that this will be a place to look forward to,” says Erik Strand, president and CEO of Svenska spel.

Atrium Ljungberg is one of the largest property developers in Slussen. In addition to the Glashuset, the Katarina house and the Sjömansinstitutet are included, as well as additional land instructions. The company will also develop the future Mälarterrassen project as well as the shopping area that connects the subway with the new bus terminal and the Saltsjöbanan. As Slussen becomes increasingly ready, the demand for office space also increases, according to Atrium Ljungberg. Katarinahuset is almost fully let with tenants such as Gullers Grupp, Nova Consulting Group and Sony Music Sweden AB. This autumn, the co-working operator A house will also open its second establishment within Atrium Ljungberg's property portfolio.

“It feels very nice to welcome Svenska spel to Glashuset. Slussen has always been one of Stockholm's most symbolic meeting places and it is gratifying to see the place regain its position,” says Annica Ånäs, CEO of Atrium Ljungberg. “Our vision is to create an attractive mix of exciting food concepts, hotels and modern offices. Svenska spel is one of Sweden's most well-known companies and fits in well with the other strong brands in Slussen.”
