Flower was founded in 2020 and is Sweden’s leader in energy trading and optimisation of battery storage. By combining advanced software technology with flexible energy resources, Flower makes tomorrow’s renewable energy system possible. The company is expanding rapidly into select European markets and is breaking new ground with a fossil-free energy system. The company has a strong sustainability focus that will also be reflected in its new premises, which will utilise reused materials and interiors to the greatest extent possible.
“As a leader in the energy transition, we are very pleased to now move in to an office that matches our ambition and company culture. From a fantastic location and modern premises that look out over Gamla Stan and Stockholm’s inlet, we look forward to creating even more added value for our employees. This move strengthens not only our position as an employer but also our commitment to offer an inspiring, dynamic and sustainable work environment,” says John Diklev, CEO and founder of Flower.
Atrium Ljungberg is one of the largest property developers in Slussen. In addition to Glashuset, the company is developing Katarinahuset and Sjömansinstitutet as well as other land allocations. The company will also develop the future project Mälarterrassen and the retail hub that will connect the underground with the new bus terminal and the Saltsjöbanan train line. As Slussen nears completion, demand for office space is increasing. Katarinahuset, which has undergone a major reconstruction, is basically fully let with tenants such as Gullers Grupp, Sony Music Sweden AB and co-working company A house, which in the near future will open its second establishment within Atrium Ljungberg’s property portfolio.
“I am so pleased to welcome Flower to Glashuset. Slussen has always been one of Stockholm's most important meeting places, and it is fantastic to see how it is regaining this position,” says Camilla Waxin, Leasing Manager at Atrium Ljungberg. “Flower is an innovative company sustainability high on the agenda. They are market leader in their industry and will fit in well with the other strong brands in Slussen,” she concludes.
The lease contract with Flower is a so-called green lease contract. This is when the landlord and the tenant agree on joint measures to retain or improve the environmental performance of the premises.
