Bonava is selling a rental project in the Ursvik district of Sundbyberg, Stockholm, for a sales price of MSEK 190 (EUR 18.5M). The purchaser is housing company Willhem and the transaction encompasses a total of 66 apartments in two tower blocks. The project is expected to be handed over to the customer and recognised in profit in the second and third quarters of 2019.

"The development of well-planned, attractive rental apartments is important in our efforts to realise our vision of creating homes and happy neighbourhoods where people have the highest quality of life. We are delighted to have been entrusted by Willhem to develop another such project together with the company," says Fredrik Hemborg, Business Unit President, Bonava Sweden.

The apartments are located close to green areas and good transport links to Stockholm city centre. Ursvik is expected to become home to about 20,000 people by 2026. The Kista branch of the Tvärbanan light rail line will be completed as soon as 2021 and will have two stops in the district.
