The three buildings on Islands Brygge were erected 1907-1913 by FDB, who resided here until 1963.
The properties encompass a total of 22,500 sqm leasable area. Among the tenants are architect firm Schmidt, Hammer & Lassen, landscape architects SLA and music producers, IT companies, advertising agencies and other creative businesses.
The buyer, ELF Development, who purchases the property through ELF Ejendomme, already owns a fourth similar building in the area.
“We are very pleased to have the opportunity to purchase the remaining part of the Njalsgadekomplekset. The purchase matches our investment strategy and a collective ownership of Njalsgadekomplekset gives us the opportunity to further support and develop the creative environment in the property” says Ludvig Find, CEO at ELF Development.
ELF Development are for example responsible for the development of Amager Strand and Irmabyen. Through the purchase of Njalsgadekomplekset ELF owns properties at a value of more than DKK 1 billion (€130M).
