The acquired building rights are included in the detailed plan for Linnéan in Järvastaden, Solna Municipality. The detailed plan has gained legal force for the development of approximately 360 residential units. The building rights are being acquired through an agreement reached between JM and Vasakronan in 2006. The acquisition will be reported within the JM Residential Stockholm business segment in Q1 2021.

“Solna is a very attractive municipality, and we are very pleased we have the opportunity to strengthen our position with additional building rights in Järvastaden,” says Malin Lindskog, regional manager for JM Stockholm North.

Järvastaden is located in the northern part of Solna and Sundbyberg next to the nature reserve Igelbäcken and approximately 10 minutes by train to downtown Stockholm. Järvastaden has gradually been developed since 2006, and JM is now planning the Gulmåran/Svärdsliljan projects with the first stage of sales planned to start in the fall of 2021.
