The property is located at Holmens Kanal in Inner Copenhagen. Danske Bank will remain as tenants in the property, that encompasses 14 buildings – 37,000 sqm offices.
Previously Danske Bank has also made sale and leaseback deals with the offices in Høje Taastrup, Glostrup and on Østerbro in Copenhagen.
“We want the best flexibility possible in our office usage. This is why it no longer makes sense to have a large real estate portfolio. Holmens Kanal has been our hub since 1875 and we look forward to the cooperation with Standard Life” says Henrik Ramlau-Hansen at Danske Bank.
“Standard Life is happy that we successfully purchased historical properties in central Copenhagen. Together with our local partner Capital Investment we want to manage the properties with respect for the historical heritage” says Daniel McHugh at Standard Life.
