Volvo Cars will establish its new, global tech hub that will ensure Volvo Cars' high ambition to become a fully electric car manufacturer by 2030 in parallel with an increased focus on online sales.
At the beginning of 2020, the then newly started car sharing service Volvo Cars Mobility took place in the Mood District to get a city location with room for continued expansion. Volvo Cars is now choosing the Mood District to establish a new tech hub for over 700 employees with cutting-edge expertise in software development, computer science, online sales and user experience.
"Stockholm is the birthplace of several globally successful technology companies and the Mood District is one of the most attractive office addresses in the middle of the city. The establishment is proof that the office stands strong as an important place for building corporate culture and promoting creativity, innovation and collaboration," says Magnus Carlsson, Sales Manager at AMF Fastigheter.
