The logistics facility comprises a total of 8,700 sqm and will be the last major building block in the expansive Hamncity industrial area. The area has close proximity to Sweden’s second-largest container port and easy access to the major E Roads.
The facility has an open floor plan and eight cargo holds, which supports fit-for-purpose premises and a strategic flow for loading and unloading. The property will be certified to SGBC Silver standard and also include a solar cell facility on the roof.
Construction will start in the beginning of 2023, with an expected occupancy for Springhill in December 2023.
Springhill is a textile company with roots in Helsingborg stretching back years, selling socks, undergarments and home textile products under the brand names Softer days, Crossbow, Topeco, Noble House and Gripsholm.
“We look forward to moving to new, sustainable premises that are well-suited to our operations today. Wihlborgs looks like an excellent partner for us,” says Anna Holmberg, CEO of Springhill Textile AB.
“In addition to the strategic location and the ability to design the premises for different operations, the area is a pleasant one for employees with good public transport connections, plenty of parking and an excellent offering of services. We look forward to welcoming Springhill here,” says Ulrika Hallengren, CEO of Wihlborgs.
