“Anna Nyberg has successfully led ICA Real Estate during three very eventful years. The important property sales and formation of the jointly owned property companies that Anna has executed in recent years have been of major strategic value for ICA Gruppen. At the same time they have entailed a changed direction for the property company going forward, with a stronger focus on property management services. Against this background we have jointly decided that it is a good point in time for a change of CEO, and I wish Anna all the best in the future,” comments Nina Jönsson, CEO of ICA Gruppen.

“The decision to leave ICA evolved during the spring, and it now feels like a good timing for me to move on. It has been both intensive and exciting to lead ICA Real Estate during this period characterised by many transactions. In terms of its property holdings, today ICA Real Estate is somewhat of a different company than when I started, but with the same, essential societal mission. Now as the company moves in to a more property management service phase, it also feels natural to leave the CEO role and move on in my professional career,” says Anna Nyberg, departing CEO of ICA Real Estate.

Recruitment of a successor has begun. Mattias Lundgren, CFO of ICA Real Estate, will step in as acting CEO until a permanent CEO is in place.
