The deal encompasses 23 apartment properties with a total leasable area of approximately 63,000 sqm. Possession will be taken on January 31st 2017. Through this deal Rikshem complements their current portfolio in Umeå and the company also gets the chance to establish a larger and more efficient management organization in the municipality.

Apart from the deal we are also very happy that we, despite a challenging year for the company, have manage to carry through acquisitions of more than EUR 419M while having 820 apartments in production and the completion of 560 apartments during 2016. After this acquisition Rikshem has approximately 1,400 apartments in Umeå, which makes Rikshem the city’s largest private residential company.
