Akademiska Hus is selling the land plot Norra Djurgården 1:46 which is located in the Lilla Frescati area in Stockholm. The property has an area of approximately 18,300 square meters and contains three buildings with a total lettable area of approximately 9,000 square meters. Stockholm University rents one of the buildings, the Wallenberg Laboratory, of approximately 3,000 square meters. Other buildings are empty.
"The Swedish Fortifications Agency is an established actor with an interest in both managing the property and developing it for future purposes. We are satisfied with the agreement and being able to assist the Fortifications Agency with appropriate premises. It is also gratifying that, despite the current market situation, we are finding business opportunities and optimizing our property portfolio," says Anna Alsborger, property director at Akademiska Hus.
The Swedish Fortifications Agency took over the land right on September 2 and takes over the existing lease with Stockholm University in unchanged form.
