Niam has entered into an agreement to acquire 51 terraced houses in Denmark, built in 2023. The property is situated in Hedensted, strategically located between Vejle and Horsens in Eastern Jutland. The homes are built as single-family terraced houses, comprising 32 one-storey units 19 units in two storeys. This acquisition will be integrated into Niam’s Danish residential portfolio Nordhusene, aligning well with the overall strategy.

“We continue to exploit on opportunities when they match our vision for the Nordhusene-platform. Similar to the 73 terraced houses that we acquired earlier this year, these 51 units are of solid building quality, in an attractive location, and a housing type which we understand and specialize in,” says Jacob de Lichtenberg, Country Manager Denmark, Niam.

Since 2020, Niam has been actively expanding its residential portfolio in Denmark under the Nordhusene name, with the aim of providing affordable, quality homes across the country, with in-house administration by Nordhusene.

“With this latest acquisition, Niam further strengthens its Nordhusene platform, which now includes 2,400 homes in and around Denmark's growth cities. The portfolio is characterized by its emphasis on quality housing, sustainability, convenient locations, and the flexibility of rental living,” says Erik Rydström, Fund Manager, Niam.
