Sweden — Skanska has signed a contract for the acquisition of building rights for housing in in Gothenburg, Sweden. The property value amounts to about MSEK 290.

Sweden — Skanska sells the hotel project Gradienten, which will be built in central Jönköping for about EUR 43M. The buyer is Balder.

Finland — Skanska has signed a contract with the City of Helsinki to build the Urban Environment House in Helsinki.

Sweden — Now that the initial local plan has been adopted for Täby Park, JM and Skanska will continue developing the new neighborhood in Täby, north of Stockholm.

Norway — Skanska has signed a contract with the Norwegian Ministry of Justice and Emergency Planning to build the National Police Emergency Response Center at Taraldrud in Ski Municipality. The contract is worth about EUR 153M.

Nordic — Following a strategic review initiated in the fall 2017 Skanska will undertake a comprehensive restructuring to improve profitability. The review and following changes result in a charge of a total of about EUR 112M in the fourth quarter, and about EUR 61M in 2018.

Sweden — Skanska has signed a contract with Blekinge County Council to build a new building at Blekinge Hospital, Karlskrona.

Sweden — Skanska has signed a contract with Växjö Fastighetsförvaltning to build Växjö City Hall and Central Station in Växjö. The contract is worth about EUR 59M.

Sweden — The Board of Directors has appointed Anders Danielsson new President and CEO of Skanska. He will succeed Johan Karlström who previously announced he will step down. 

Sweden — Skanska has signed a contract with the Swedish National Courts Administration to build new court- and office premises in Sollentuna, Sweden. In connection with the contract writing, the contract is transferred from the Swedish National Courts Administration to Vacse.

Sweden — Skanska has sold a nursing home under construction in Gothenburg for about EUR 25M. The buyer is property fund managed by Northern Horizon and Ambea will become the tenant.

Norway — Skanska has signed a contract with Bane NOR Eiendom to build a conference hotel in Drammen. The contract is worth EUR 32M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the fourth quarter 2017.

Sweden — Fabege has commissioned Skanska to build the Hammarby Terrassen property, and the project will be run as a collaborative venture.

Denmark — The hotel will be leased by Scandic, who has signed a 20-year lease agreement.

Sweden — Skanska’s President and CEO Johan Karlström has notified the Skanska Board of Directors that he wishes to step down.

Sweden — Skanska has signed a lease with PTC for about 250,000 square feet, 23,125 square meters, at its 121 Seaport office development in Boston, USA. The lease agreement is for 18.5 years and occupancy will take place in early 2019, when PTC moves its global headquarters to 121 Seaport. With this first lease, the building is 63 percent leased.

Norway — Axer Eiendom has given Skanska the contract for the housing project Gartnerløkken in Åsane, Bergen.

Sweden — Arla Foods will move their headquarters to Skanska’s project Solna United in Arenastaden, Solna.

Sweden — Skanska has signed a contract with Locum to rebuild and expand S:t Görans Hospital in Stockholm. The contract is worth about EUR 136M.

Sweden — The seven-storey care center will be about 33,000 square meters large and is owned by Västfastigheter.

Nordic — Skanska divests two properties in Stockholm and one in Oslo to Vasakronan, Aberdeen and Entra for a total of EUR 225M.

Sweden — Skanska has signed a contract with Swedavia to build a hotel at Arlanda Airport in Stockholm, Sweden. The contract is worth about MSEK 710 (EUR 73M).

Sweden — Skanska has divested three properties in the area Flemingsbergsdalen in Stockholm for an underlying property value of about EUR 87M. The buyer is Niam.

Sweden — Skanska has divested three buildings at Linnaeus University in Kalmar, Sweden, to Intea Fastigheter.

Sweden — Skanska has signed an agreement with Familjebostäder to build a block consisting of 178 rental apartments in Stockholm. The contract is worth about EUR 41M.
