Heimstaden Buys in Copenhagen

Denmark Denmark Heimstaden has, through its Danish subsidiary Heimstaden Danmark A/S, entered into an agreement to acquire a real estate project in Copenhagen.

The project Scherfig was acquired by Penco P/S, a company owned by PenSam Life Forsikringsaktieselskab and Consort A/S. The property will be built with a total of 114 apartments and 117 parking spaces in the underground parking basement Construction is underway and the property is completed for occupancy in the fourth quarter of 2018th.

The total surface amounts to about 12 800 square meters and the transaction value is approximately EUR 91M. The transaction takes place through the acquisition of companies andis  financed with its own cash and mortgage credit financing.

"Scherfig has a great position near Svanemøllebugten. The area around is a mixture of old and new construction. We are pleased to continue our expansion in the Danish capital," says Magnus Nordholm, vice president, Heimstaden.
