Through this acquisition, Akka further strengthens its position in Skåne and now reaches a sub-portfolio with over 1,000 apartments in the region. We look forward to welcoming all new tenants to Akka and through active, present and long-term management to continue working with these properties, says Henrik Jussi-Pekka, CEO of Akka Egendom and Möller & Partners.
"Our ambition is always to own long-term and build a local administration to guarantee efficient management. When we do not reach the volume we strive to establish a local administration, then it is better that someone with a stronger local presence takes over," says Mattis Falkentoft, Head of Transactions, Sweden, at Akka.
Following the acquisition, Akka Egendom has a residential stock amounting to just over 3,600 apartments, spread over six administrative regions. The company is owned by its management and a number of Swedish institutional investors.
Access to the properties will take place on April 1, 2022.
Akka Egendom's advisers have been Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton and Sweco.
