Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget will develop apartments in the Bacchus block on an artificial peninsula by Skrea Strand, near Vin & Sprits previous warehouse.
Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget purchases LTN Fastighets AB that has been running the projects. The acquisition encompasses 60,000 BTA building rights and approximately 72,000 sqm office and logistic spaces, where some will be reconstructed to social premises.
Approximately 800 apartments will be built in the area. Four seven story buildings in the first phase, in front of Vin & Sprits previous warehouse. 160 apartments will fit in the first buildings. The start of construction will be during the spring of 2017. Apart from Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget, the first phase is co-owned by the local construction company Peterson och Hansson Bygg AB, Byggfast Partner AB that works with property development, and the consultant firm SF Byggkonsult.
The project to build homes at Skrea Strand is also coordinated with the municipality’s planned renovation. There will among other things be new street drawings on the artificial peninsula forming the Bacchus block.
“To get started with a new construction as a new company is very important for Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget. Bacchus in Falkenberg is very unique and a fantastic area, a pearl where you can live just a few meters from the beach and Kattegatt” says Ilija Batljan, CEO at Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget.
“It will be a whole new district in a fantastic environment with very beautiful apartments with a view of the sea. Most of it will be condominium, but we will also construct a few up for leasing that we will own in the long run, this to create an attractive mixture.”
Jörgen Hallgren, former CEO at LTN Fastighet, will continue working on the project.
Catella Corporate Finance was the seller’s advisor.
